The Story of B and M Consulting Ltd’s Founders
After many years of working across different industries and geographies, having little work-life balance, and feeling a bit like ships passing in the night, Megan and Blair made a transformative change to an authentic integrated life philosophy.
The first step was bringing their skillsets together to form a business. Next, relocate back to Blair’s hometown in the Wairarapa to get back some quality family time, reduce traveling time, and be amongst a thriving community. Lastly, stay married.
So far it’s working. In our spare time, we enjoy exploring and appreciating the local beaches. Our personal favourite is Castlepoint. A recent family hobby is Drag Racing at the local Masterton Drag Strip.
Blair Cole
Blair has a proven track record ranging from developing multi-million dollar new business streams for Fonterra, DairyAmerica, and United Dairymen of Arizona to establishing and leading a professional motorsports team to four consecutive international championships.
He’s a practical strategic thinker who is not afraid of the details, telling it like it is and going that extra mile to achieve productive, cost-effective, and valued results. He also has a comprehensive general management skill set developed over 30 years through a diversity of past roles including but not limited to International Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Origination, Distribution, Design, Construction, and Operations Management.
Previously a member of Global Dairy Trade Oversight Committee.

Megan Cole
A proven track record ranging from developing small business starts ups to working with multinationals both in New Zealand and Internationally. More than 30 years of experience in diverse roles, from Managing Director of a privately-owned Foreign Exchange Company in the Middle East to Business Consultant in Pharmaceuticals for multinational Merck Sharpe and Dohme.
Key experience is the ability to identify critical factors amongst the chaos to practically productive positive outcomes for customers. This includes growing the profitability of businesses through marketing, sales, and business development.
